Providing the local community with direct sales of organic vegetables
Moonhill Farmstand opened in late Spring of 2022. Close to Mansons Village, just passed TwigRoots and just before Cindy’s Baked Goods, the farmstand is housed in the old Highway shed along Sutil Road. Taking advantage of its convenient location and assortment of fresh greens straight from the garden bed, many chose to stop in and grab lettuce or beet bunches. I had sell-out days on quite a few occasions.
What We’ve Learned
Last year we were open through most of the summer Wednesday to Friday coming to a seasonal close by mid-September. For 2023 Moonhill will look to expand its offerings while remaining with the same opening schedule. Still in its infancy, the farmstand will works to fine-tune its offerings, finding the right produce and schedule that works best for land and its benefactors. Keep abreast of this website come spring when the seasons offerings will be listed. People can contact us through the website if they have an interest in reserving some produce pre-harvest. Moonhill Kale can still be found at the local co-op during its growing season but most produce will be exclusively sold through the farmstand.
